IF SO, JOIN SIR JOHN OWENS REGIMENT OF FOOTE!

Col. Sir John Owens Companye of Foote is a Royalist regiment recreating English Civil War battles nationwide, often for charity. Membership is open to anyone, male, female and families.
You don't have to be a historian or a sports person to join, and we have no real political persuasion. Present membership includes; students, office and factory workers, teachers, salesmen and those who are retired.

We have appeared in many TV and Radio programmes such as; Channel 4's 'Longitude' and 'Women At Play', ITV's Costume Drama 'Horn Blower', Radio 4's 'Women's Hour' and The Discovery Channels 'History in Action'.

Along with the sealed knot society events, Colonel Owens regiment also conducts our own independent events. Below are some of the places we have been and continue to use for our own events, talks, living histories and displays:

How much does it cost to join?
Not very much!
The 2005 Membership fees are:
Family - £44.00 | Individual - £29.00 | Young Person - £24.00
Friends of the Knot (UK & Europe):- £12.00
Friends of the Knot (Rest of the world):- £20.00
(All above include a £4.00 enrolment fee)

The Sealed Knot does not charge you to attend an any event. The membership fee covers you for as many events as you can attend.
